Program: Interdisciplinary PhD in Urban Design and Planning
Tianzhe Wang is currently pursuing an Interdisciplinary PhD in Urban Design and Planning at the University of Washington. Before moving to Seattle, she have worked in Shanghai for two years at a consulting company that specialized in real estate, where she witnessed and contributed to the development of Yangtze River Delta Region of Eastern China through various projects.
Tianzhe holds a Master’s degree in urban planning with a concentration in physical planning at the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Engineering at Tongji University. With the backgrounds of design and consulting, she had always sought for solutions to optimize design and development proposals with substantive data analysis. While broadly interested in the urban Big Data and smart cities, she is specifically focused on human factors, endeavoring to grasp and model behavior patterns and their interactions with built environment.
